Mechanical Technician Student- Summer 2026

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience for your future career in being a Mechanical Technician. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of a Mechanical Technician student to join CFM at our office in Saint John, NB
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
- Create and update CAD models and engineering drawings using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Support prototype development and testing, including data collection and analysis.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Learn and adhere to company policies and industry standards.
Currently enrolled in a Engineering university degree program or Community College Engineering program
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in CAD software ( e.g, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong safety orientation.
