Are you looking to gain hands-on experience for your future career in being a Mechanical Technician. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of a Mechanical Technician student to join CFM at our office in Saint John, NB

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
  • Create and update CAD models and engineering drawings using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Support prototype development and testing, including data collection and analysis.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Learn and adhere to company policies and industry standards.

  • Currently enrolled in a Engineering university degree program or Community College Engineering program

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in CAD software ( e.g, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong safety orientation.
