As a Junior Acoustic, Noise and Vibration Specialist, you'll join a dynamic team of environmental and mechanical engineers, technologists, and interns who are passionate about delivering impactful solutions across Canada.
This role offers a blend of field and office work, supporting projects from proposal development to design, monitoring, and client engagement. You'll help deliver existing projects and contribute to new business opportunities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across WSP.
Your Impact
- Conduct field investigations and acoustical monitoring for noise and vibration impact studies
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and contribute to design oversight for design-build teams
- Support proposal development and client engagement activities
- Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-faceted environmental and infrastructure projects
- Apply technical knowledge to solve real-world challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline; post-graduate credentials in environmental studies are an asset
- 3+ years of consulting experience, with a focus on acoustical engineering and monitoring
- Familiarity with acoustical modeling, field investigations, and data analysis
- Experience supporting design-build projects and client development initiatives
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks across fieldwork, reporting, and project coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to adapt to fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
