Job Description

Houseperson (Part Time)

Create the experience before the guest has even arrived. As a Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and that our guests Feel Welcome from the minute they step into their room.

What you will be doing:

  • Stock up all linen closets with clean linen according to par-stock.
  • To vacuum and dusts all corridors and staircases as assigned. 
  • To note all guest requests received and carry out exactly all requests. 
  • To take care of the public areas, restock washrooms, mopping, dusting and removing garbage as required. 
  • To conduct deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g. Spot carpet cleaning, shower head de-scaling, etc). 
  • To comply with any reasonable request by the Supervisor and Hotel Management 
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Competency in verbal English is essential and basic written required
  • Previous experience in Hotel Housekeeping department is desirable.
  • Previous experience in customer service is desirable, though not essential
  • Previous experience in 5 star property is desirable, though not essential
  • Dynamic, energetic, and thrives under pressure

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents

Hourly Rate Range: $ $21.15 CAD Gross per hour
