Job description
We are looking for an energetic and responsible individual to join our team of Customer Service Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a cash register, verifying ID on age restricted sales, dealing with customers on a regular basis, receiving orders and stocking. The ideal candidate will have experience with retail environments, quick decision-making skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Previous customer service experience, ability to communicate with all staff and customers in a professional and friendly manner and creates a positive working environment.
Ability to multitask in a busy work environment and work as a team to accomplish daily tasks. Ability to work independently and part as a team.
Stocking can consist of repetitive lifting, carrying boxes up to and may exceed 30lbs. Pushing carts of products to restock shelves and any other duties related to the restocking of the business.
Current criminal record check required.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the location starting from 5:45am to midnight as required, 7 days a week. Public transportation is not available during these times.
Availability mornings, evenings, weekends and all holidays is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions and handle cash accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and resolving issues.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are organized and displayed attractively.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs promptly.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
Summary
In the role of Cashier/Customer Service/Stocker, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while managing transactions and maintaining stock levels. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will utilize your core skills in cash handling, communication, and retail sales to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be vital in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, your premium skills in merchandising and bilingual communication will enhance customer interactions and drive sales.
