About Us:

Growing real estate brokerage based in Brampton, committed to excellence, compliance, and supporting our agents with best-in-class administrative and financial services. We seek a dedicated Bookkeeper comfortable working on-site, who can handle the unique financial flows of a real estate business (commission splits, agent billing, trust funds, multi-entity consolidation, etc.).
MUST have hands-on experience with Lone Wolf
within a Canadian real estate brokerage. Candidates without Lone Wolf experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions for the brokerage (bank, credit card, trust and agency accounts)
  • Process agent commission payouts: calculate splits, deduct company fees (desk, deal, tech), track chargebacks, referrals and commercial-deal fees
  • Manage agent billing: monthly desk fees, deal fees, technology fees, and collections on unpaid agent accounts.
  • Reconcile trust accounts, general ledger, and multiple office/entity financials monthly.
  • Prepare and remit GST/HST, provincial tax filings as required
  • Assist with monthly close: prepare reconciliation reports, support the accountant or controller at year-end
  • Maintain a chart of accounts and ensure accurate coding of transactions in the accounting system
  • Support compliance: ensure transaction files align with regulatory/real estate/trust requirements
  • Provide regular financial reports (e.g., agent payout reports, brokerage revenue summary) to management
  • Work closely with agents, office leadership and external accountants/auditors to resolve issues or discrepancies

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in real estate or multi-entity environment)
  • Strong working understanding of commission breakdowns, agent fee structures, and trust accounting
  • Competent with accounting software (Lone Wolf, QuickBooks, Xero or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
  • MUST HAVE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH LONE WOLF
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills: able to liaise with agents, leadership, vendors and accountants
  • Knowledge of Ontario real-estate brokerage practices is an asset.
