Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with guests, create a welcoming atmosphere, and showcase your skills in a lively restaurant environment. Prior experience with POS systems and food safety standards is highly valued, along with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
  • Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in opening or closing duties as assigned.
  • Follow all responsible alcohol service policies to promote guest safety.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant or food industry settings, especially in serving or bartending roles.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with guests.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
  • Ability to multitask seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices is preferred. Job Type: Part-time
