We are currently seeking a
Trade Sales & Brand Growth Specialist
to support the growth of our designer account base from our Toronto Showroom. To strengthen repeat buying, and help execute brand and trade-growth initiatives that increase visibility in the design community.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for interior design and textiles, someone who understands how designers specify, loves working with clients, and is energized by sales + relationship-building. You'll play a key role in follow-up, client experience, showroom support, and brand growth execution that supports the business as a whole.

The Role

The primary responsibilities are maximizing sales with existing designer accounts, developing new business, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from first inquiry through repeat order. You'll also contribute to brand and marketing strategy and execution across the business — supporting trade growth initiatives, campaigns, and customer journey touchpoints that strengthen awareness and drive repeat buying.

Responsibilities

Designer Account + Sales Support

  • Respond to designer inquiries, sample requests, and showroom visits with warmth and speed

  • Vet inbound leads and digital sales opportunities, ensuring fast response times and high-quality follow-up

  • Handle and convert digital sales opportunities through thoughtful outreach, quoting support, and proactive follow-up

  • Deliver a warm, attentive, and knowledgeable showroom experience that reflects the elegance of the Threadcount brand, with continued showroom refresh ideas and execution

  • Guide designers through product selection and sampling with tailored recommendations that reflect their design vision, aesthetic, and project needs

  • Track leads, quotes, follow-ups, and client needs to ensure nothing slips through

  • Log and track sales activity, customer notes, and follow-ups in Salesforce to maintain clear pipeline visibility

  • Assist and quarterback outside sales roles from the showroom as needed by coordinating follow-ups, sourcing, and supporting key account requests

  • Support lead generation and revenue growth through strategic follow-up, consistent reporting, and strong pipeline hygien

  • Log and track sales activity, customer notes, and follow-ups in Salesforce to maintain clear pipeline visibility

Client Experience + Repeat Buying

  • Manage follow-up and nurture touchpoints after sampling and quoting

  • Support reorder reminders and post-purchase communications

  • Help improve the designer experience through organized, elevated client care

  • Support repeat-buying initiatives and retention touchpoints for designer accounts

Brand Growth Support (Trade + Company-Wide)

  • Partner with the marketing team and content creator to support brand and trade-growth initiatives company-wide

  • Contribute to planning and execution, including campaign coordination, product launches, seasonal stories, and showroom moments

  • Support the development and execution of the new-business customer journey — including touchpoints that convert new designer leads from first inquiry to first order, and nurture them into repeat buyers.

  • Help coordinate trade community outreach, including events, partnerships, designer mailers, and creative touchpoints that capture attention and drive engagement

  • Track and report on key marketing and outreach initiatives (what was sent, who engaged, what converted), helping improve results over time

Qualifications

  • Interior design background and knowledge of specification workflows

  • Experience in a showroom, trade environment, or client-facing sales support

  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and communication

  • Comfortable using tools like Salesforce, Shopify, or similar platforms

  • Enjoys sales + brand growth working together to drive results

Performance Bonus

Comp: Base + performance bonus
