Salary:
$99,899 - $117,528 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract:
Full Time, Temporary, untill March 31,2027
Hours:
37.5 Hours, Monday – Friday (core hours 9am – 3pm)
Location:
Metro Vancouver: Park Royal Office – on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Squamish, Musqueam & Tsleil-Wuatuth Nations – Hybrid working is an option (in line with FNHA's flex work policy (minimum 50% in office).Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, Summer 2027.
About The Role
Rooted in a team-based care model and guided by the vision, values, and principles of First Nation cultural safety, cultural humility, and anti-racism, the Senior Clinical Education Lead, Allied Health centers First Nations communities in their work—delivering both discipline-specific and inter-professional education across the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) through a collaborative, culturally responsive approach.
The Senior Clinical Education Lead - Allied Health is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating culturally safe educational strategies that support allied health clinicians and students—promoting excellence in clinical practice and a responsive, equity-informed approach to care. This position leads the development of new organizational for allied health providers to participate in student initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have –
Education
- Degree in a regulated allied health profession, 6-8 years' recent, related clinical experience preferably in a rural and remote setting.
- Master's degree in education or related allied health field.
- Preferred, completion of a professional instructional program for teaching. Experience creating educational materials, implementing education strategies, utilizing knowledge translation abilities, and experience mentoring students, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience
- A minimum of 6-8 years of recent, related advanced clinical experience in a complex health care environment including progressive professional practice, education, project management and leadership experience.
- Must have experience in providing education and mentoring related to allied health.
- Must have experience in creating educational materials and implementing education strategies
- Experience in clinical student initiatives and/or programming within a health care organization.
Ocupational Certification
- Current full registration within a regulated field of allied health (e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Dietetics, Pharmacy).
- Registration in an allied health association (e.g. Clinical Counselling).
Knowledge and Competencies
- Knowledge of and ability to apply an understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols in work and healthcare practice situations
- Knowledge of diverse traditional First Nation's healing practices
- Knowledge of and ability to articulate and envision the Two-eyed seeing approach to clinical practice, healthcare, and quality improvement
- Knowledge of the impacts of ongoing colonization

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours. Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements. The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
