We're seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to help design, build, and test hardware and embedded systems. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work directly supports delivery excellence across the Intelcom network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, business cases, and specifications.

  • Design, prototype, assemble, and test system solutions.

  • Produce supporting and explanatory documentation to facilitate installation and use.

  • Opportunity to visit sorting facilities to learn operational processes or participate in the integration and development of technologies.

  • Perform any other tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the Lab.

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic testing.

  • Experience in assembly (soldering, inspection, harness manufacturing, etc.) is an asset.

  • Experience using ECAD software (Altium Designer or similar) is an asset.

  • Broad systems knowledge with a foundation in embedded programming and mechanics.

  • Ability to document clearly and concisely.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and strong hands-on skills.
