As a key member of the IT team, you will have a direct impact on the design and enhancements that ensure the digital experience exceeds the expectations of the enterprise.
This position will collaborate with the Infrastructure Design team to deliver products and solutions. They will also support and maintain lifecycle on services and solutions that are in place, as well as satisfying business and operational requirements through the efficient use of internally established and industry best practices. As a leader in technology, this position will drive adherence to leading best practices, standardization, automation, and provide leadership to implementations in an agile framework.
This position requires full-time on-site presence.
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Responsibilities- Process improvement of infrastructure support processes for all Tiered support levels
- Process automation to improve the efficiency and repeatability of operational tasks
- Provide coaching and mentoring, share technical knowledge, skills, and expertise in an efficient and supportive manner
- Provide end-to-end technical leadership, planning, workload estimation, organizing, and implementation of products and solutions
- Execute and support the implementation of infrastructure products and solutions
- Establish leading practices and policies for implementing, configuring, maintaining, operating, and securing infrastructure
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards to improve operations
- Monitor and analyze capacity and performance on the environment and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing infrastructure demands
- Participate in an on-call rotation to serve and support our customers
- Perform system administration tasks to ensure stability of critical business solutions
- Education Required: A university Degree, College Diploma or Relevant Experience
- 8+ Years of Experience in Complex IT Environments (Systems)
- Knowledge or Experience in Systems; Active Directory (AD), Server OS (Windows/Linux), Virtualization, Storage, Enterprise Backup Services
- Knowledge or Experience with Cisco Enterprise Hardware
- Knowledge or Experience with Citrix
- Sound Understanding of Industry Leading Practices
- Attention to Detail (Planning and Prioritization)
- Effective communication and comfort interacting with management and leadership

- Certifications (Any); Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Microsoft Certified Azure Expert, Microsoft Certified DevOps Expert is Required
- PowerShell
- Ansible
- Knowledge or Experience in Cloud Platforms such as Azure and Amazon
