We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support for children in a family setting. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, dependable, and experienced in working with children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while ensuring their safety and well-being. The position requires flexibility, patience, and excellent communication skills to foster a supportive environment for children to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
  • Assist with homework, teaching basic educational concepts, and encouraging curiosity
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to children's areas
  • Provide caregiving support for children with special needs or disabilities as required
  • Follow family routines and schedules for naps, playtime, meals, and bedtime
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns
  • Ensure children's safety at all times by monitoring their activities both indoors and outdoors

Skills

  • Experience working with children across different age groups
  • Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking for children's dietary requirements
  • Ability to care for children with disabilities or special needs with patience and understanding
  • Strong caregiving skills combined with a nurturing attitude
  • Ability to teach basic skills, foster creativity, and encourage positive behavior
  • Good cleaning skills to maintain a tidy play area and living space
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and children
  • Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for childcare

We are looking for a candidate to work mainly Mon-Fri, but candidates who can work flexible days/ hours will be given priority.

We travel for work from time to time, so flexibility to travel and a valid passport are an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $41,600.00 per year
