Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Systems Manager/Quality Manager to sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including: IATF16949, ISO14001 / ISO 45001 as well as internal standards), accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures. The ideal candidate will regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product as well as manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.

Duties

  • Responsible to do internal audits to quality system;
  • Participate in the maintenance of the ISO 14001 program in accordance with company policy and procedure
  • Develop the Management Systems strategy and the management arrangements for key milestones
  • Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met.
  • Ensure completion of product and process audits to pre-defined schedule;
  • Verify closure of non-conformities with Certification Bodies
  • Responsible for all non-quality costs;
  • Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting ·on achievement of targets and identify any actions required
  • Responsible for full implementation of IATF quality system, and compliance to same
  • Responsible to request and do QMS revising together with top management;
  • Establish, plan and communicate the QMS short-term and long-term objectives in addition to the QMS requirements
  • Evaluate and audit compliance and effectiveness of the Business Unit manuals and operating procedures, according to the QMS
  • Verify the use of appropriate control plans for parts manufacturing, according to the QMS;
  • Interface with customers and suppliers on quality related issues;
  • Scheduling of Quality Associates and approval of expenditures.

Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing related experience with hands on operational knowledge (preferably practical experience in automotive industry manufacturing environment);
  • College Diploma/University Degree in Quality, industrial engineering, management or similar;
  • Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949
  • Solid working knowledge of ISO 14001, 5S Methodology;
  • High level of leadership skills.
  • Specialized knowledge in all areas of Quality Assurance and experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent presentation skills.
