Centennial Honda is looking for a Receptionist to join our dynamic team in our new, modern facility 

NOW HIRING: Receptionist 

LOCATION: Centennial Honda, Summerside, Prince Edward Island

HOURS: Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

WAGES: $ $20.00 per hour + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.

APPLICABLE SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:   

  • Interpersonal Skills: Builds rapport easily, demonstrates excellent phone etiquette and professional communication.
  • Customer Service Experience: Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in retail or hospitality.
  • Positive Attitude: Friendly, upbeat, and able to handle challenging situations with a positive demeanor.
  • Team Player: Collaborates effectively and contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Confidentiality: Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, proficient with computers. DMS experience is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Reliable, proactive, professional, and organized. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Additional Assets: Knowledge of the automotive industry/vehicles and bilingualism (especially French) are considered assets.

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently, taking messages if necessary
  • Greet all customers warmly, professionally, and in a timely manner
  • Direct individuals to the appropriate department or employee
  • Handle all sales administration tasks, including inventory setup and vehicle file maintenance.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and data entry
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed
