With 10 years in the industry, we are continuously expanding and looking for talented professionals to join our growing team. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support our financial operations and contribute to the continued success of our business.

Position Overview:

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with tax regulations, supporting management in financial decision-making, and helping streamline our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Monitor daily cash flow and perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations and policies
  • Support the management team with financial reports and budgeting
  • Maintain and track inventory and equipment depreciation schedules
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and business growth
  • Liaise with external auditors and financial institutions as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of trucking industry financials (e.g., fuel costs, driver payroll, vehicle maintenance) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
