Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumbers and Journeyman to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. The Apprentice Plumbers and Journeyman will work under the guidance of experienced supervisors, assisting with various plumbing tasks while developing essential skills necessary for a successful career in plumbing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts.
  • Support experienced plumbers in troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Learn to weld and build plumbing systems as directed by supervising plumbers.
  • Apply basic math skills to measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn about plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
  • Previous experience or coursework related to carpentry or construction is advantageous but not required.
  • A valid driver's license may be necessary for travel between job sites.
