Painting Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Painting Supervisors to participate in and manage skilled employees through painting projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role is essential for ensuring project quality, adherence to schedules, and maintaining safety standards. The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in coordinating activities, managing resources, and ensuring that all project specifications are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Lead and supervise painting teams to ensure projects are achieved on time and within budget
- Oversee daily operations on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets safety standards and project specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and problem resolution
- Monitor project budgets and assist in paint estimating to optimize resource utilization
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings with team members
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the Painting industry with a strong understanding of construction management principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and vendors
- Knowledge of budgeting processes related to painting projects
- Familiarity with construction schematics and technical drawings is highly desirable
