We're Hiring: Sales Associate & Social Media Coordinator

Charm Bar & Permanent Jewelry

Location: Calgary, AB

In store and offsite event based

Job Type: Part time

Flexible schedule

Evenings and weekends required

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older as some events may take place at venues where liquor is present.

What You'll Be Doing

In Store Sales and Customer Experience

  • Create unforgettable customer experiences from warm welcomes to confident checkouts
  • Assist guests at our Charm Bar by helping them select meaningful pieces and assemble custom jewelry
  • Get trained as a Permanent Jewelry Artist including welding and fittings
  • Support daily shop operations including opening and closing duties, inventory management, merchandising, and keeping the space visually beautiful
  • Provide friendly, thoughtful, and solution focused customer service
  • Hosting in-store events

Social Media and Marketing

  • Help manage LYLAS Jewelry social media accounts including Instagram and TikTok

Capture and create content in store and at events including photos, videos, and behind the scenes moments

  • Design simple graphics and visual assets that align with the LYLAS brand
  • Create additional marketing materials such as in store signage, promotional posts, and event related content
  • Support campaign ideas and content planning to help grow brand awareness and engagement

Mobile Events Optional

  • Travel to private events, pop ups, and parties to host Charm Bar and Permanent Jewelry experiences
  • Set up and pack down displays, tools, and equipment at event venues

Guide guests through jewelry selection and fittings while creating a fun and elevated experience

  • Represent the LYLAS brand with warmth, professionalism, and creativity

Please note that mobile events have a separate pay structure to reflect travel, setup, and event responsibilities. Travel to and from event locations is paid.

  • You are a self starter who is comfortable working independently and with a team
  • You have flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have a reliable vehicle and are comfortable traveling to events if you opt into event hosting
  • You are creative, adaptable, and detail oriented
  • Bonus if you enjoy jewelry, content creation, photography, video, or graphic design and love expressing a brand visually
