We are a Fine grocery store selling Local organic produces. Importing fines cheeses & charcuteries. Our sister business next door is La Baguette a 18-year-old Artisanal Bakery/Restaurant that has a strong passion for making everything from scratch using local & organic ingredients. We are extremely busy in the summer & winter months with our 2 locations, (the original one is downtown & our second location is at the RMR resort). We have a very dynamic team of 75 employees including (Le Marche, La Baguette Bakery & La Petite Baguette at RMR).

Job description

  • Supervising staff: Assigning duties, creating work schedules, training new employees, and monitoring performance.
  • Inventory and stock management: Overseeing the receipt and verification of deliveries, organizing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and managing product rotation to prevent spoilage.
  • Customer service: Ensuring high-quality customer interactions, resolving complaints, and maintaining store cleanliness and visual appeal through well-organized displays.
  • Operational tasks: Handling cash management, processing returns and damages, preparing sales and personnel reports, and managing price changes.
  • Leadership and compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, health regulations, and security protocols. May also handle opening and closing store duties, signing for deliveries, and managing escalated issues.
  • Team development: Coaching staff, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting career growth within the retail team.
