Responsibilities

About the role: The Analyst Commercial Credit-Underwriting completes financial analysis for floorplan acquisitions, loan proposals and renewals of existing credit lines, in addition to completing a review of the dealer's monthly financial operating statements. 

In This Role You Will:

  • Analyze financial statements of automotive dealerships and related customers.
  • Accurately report findings and ensure corporate compliance and risk management.
  • Communicate with dealership personnel and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations and supporting documentation to mitigate risk.
Qualifications

What makes you a dream candidate? 

  • Knowledge of financial statements of automotive dealerships and related customers. 
  • Review dealers monthly operating statements and calculate monthly Risk Ratings 
  • Monitor and react to negative trends to mitigate potential losses. 
  •  Recommend temporary and /or permanent credit line increases. 
  • Interfacing with customers and internal/external stakeholders to obtain data. 
  • Monitor and manage assigned portfolio with data obtained from both internal and external sources. 
  •  Be a central point of contact for all internal and external customer commercial lending request or inquires. 
  • Extensive knowledge of dealership, manufacturer and commercial lending floor plan programs and processes

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of directly related experience in financial analysis and experience in automotive dealership commercial lending environment required. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred

The base range for this role is: $52,000-96,000

At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education. 

This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits after 30 days of employment.
