12- month contract opportunity as a Customer Service Assistant
for our Sales division. This role will be office based and reporting to our office in Langley, British Columbia. It reports to the British Columbia Customer Service Manager.

The compensation for this position is between $44,800 and $56,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Summary
IPEX is seeking a Customer Service assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will support multiple people in our customer service team and work across all levels of the organization, in addition to serving our customers externally.

Principal Responsibilities
The Customer Service Assistant will work in a high-volume environment assisting the Customer service team . This will include assisting with, quotes, backorder inquires and stock checks/price etc. Working in a fast-paced environment, this person will multi-task while maintaining the highest quality of support:

  • Respond to inquiries regarding price, delivery, status of orders etc.
  • Resolve delays, service problems and disputes
  • Track back-orders and ensure production, purchasing and distribution are reacting accordingly Prepare quotations
  • Collaborate closely with other departments from the service team to ensure accurate service from all directions
  • Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A very professional manner and a proven dedication to providing excellent customer service in previous roles
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service support role.
  • Good time management and follow-up skills, including, the ability to effectively balance quality and quantity of output Excellent computer and internet skills, especially Microsoft Office and email
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great teammate including the proven track record to chip in and foster a positive team environment
  • SAP experience would be considered a strong asset
  • Industry experience is an asset
