We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Traffic Control Person to join the Infrastructure team in Vancouver 

This position is in Vancouver, BC and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.

This is a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Duties:

Mobilize lane closures, road closures, and detours to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow around construction sitesMentoring/ coaching traffic control personnel Monitoring of daily activities and traffic control scheduleSetting up and removing of traffic control equipment - this could include pylons, signage, and barricadesInvolved in designing and implementing lane and road closuresIdentify hazards and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with traffic safety regulations Communication with the construction crews and general publicWill be required to adhere to company safety standards, policies, and guidelines

Requirements:

Valid Class 5 Drivers LicenseTraffic Control Certification requiredExperience with implementing traffic control plans is an assetMust have knowledge and experience with traffic regulations Certifications: CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015Intermediate or higher level First Aid considered an assetCan work in a fast-paced work environmentAble to work under minimal supervisionDescribe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issuesCandidates must be legally able to work in Canada
