About Us
Brick House Recovery Centre is a leading private provider of outpatient addiction and mental health services, with locations in Edmonton and Calgary. We are passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, families, and communities, including our Veterans, RCMP, and CAF members.
Position Summary
We're looking for a Veteran who is passionate about helping other Veterans access high-quality mental health and addiction treatment. This role is about advocacy, outreach, and relationships, not sales. You'll work closely with our team and Veteran-serving organizations to ensure your brothers and sisters in arms are aware of the support available to them.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with Veteran-serving organizations (e.g., VAC, OSISS, The Royal Canadian Legion, VETS Canada, etc.)
- Act as a bridge between Veterans and Brick House Recovery Centre, assisting with navigation, questions, and referrals
- Attend community events, open houses, and networking opportunities to promote awareness of BHRC services
- Offer informal peer support and guidance to Veterans interested in mental health or substance use care
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure culturally competent, trauma-informed care
- Advocate for the unique needs of Veterans in program development and outreach efforts
Who You Are
- A Canadian Armed Forces Veteran, RCMP Veteran, or a closely affiliated individual with deep understanding of military culture
- A strong communicator who builds trust easily and speaks from lived experience
- Passionate about mental health, addiction recovery, and service navigation
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a flexible, team-based environment
- Bonus: You have existing relationships with Veteran support services in Alberta or across Canada
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a mission-driven organization offering evidence-based and holistic care
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurses, and recovery coaches
- Help shape Veteran programming and outreach strategy at Brick House
- Flexible hours and opportunities for growth and development

We strongly encourage applications from Veterans of all backgrounds, ranks, and service experiences.
If you have questions before applying, we'd love to hear from you.
