What You'll Do:     

  • Assess and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders under RSLP supervision.
  • Provide individualized therapy for children, including those with autism and speech delays.
  • Collaborate with OTs, BCBAs, and other pediatric specialists.
  • Educate and support families to promote communication success at home.
  • Participate in parent training workshops
  • Track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid registration in good standing with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC)
  • Pediatric experience required, including direct work with children with autism and speech delays.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech-language pathology terminology and therapy techniques (Gestalt processing, Apraxia, Articulation Disorders, Speech Delay, AAC, Fluency, Primitive Reflexes etc. )
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Must be innovative and creative with lesson plans
  • RASP registration will be an asset.
