Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, adult, and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital settings, acute care, pain management, and home care, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and medical excellence. Candidates should be proficient in medical terminology and familiar with electronic health record systems such as Oscar. This position emphasizes collaborative practice, data collection, medication administration, and continuous quality improvement.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations across all age groups.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, hospitals, and home care providers as needed.
- Document clinical encounters accurately using electronic health records systems such as Oscar
- Collect and analyze clinical data to monitor patient outcomes and improve quality of care.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication usage.
- Participate in research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance clinical practices.
- Supervise medical office staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with medical advancements in family medicine.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital settings with a strong background in acute care and pain management.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostics, and treatment protocols.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner is highly desirable.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations.
- Experience in pediatrics, home care, or research is a plus for providing comprehensive family medicine services.
- Ability to collect detailed clinical data accurately for ongoing patient management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Competence in medication administration adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $192,492.01-$440,210.06 per year
