Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Raymond Reach , clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments efficiently.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick orders according to specifications.
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials within the warehouse while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and cranes, ensuring mechanical functionality and safety compliance.
  • Support warehouse management with inventory control, materials handling, and proper storage practices

Experience

  • Proven warehouse distribution experience with a focus on order picking, shipping & receiving, or materials handling.
  • Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and other mechanical or electronic tools used in logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols.
  • Previous roles involving construction or industrial environments are advantageous due to familiarity with heavy machinery operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods while maintaining attention to detail during order picking tasks.
  • Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership roles are a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within logistics operations.
