The Information Management Assistant will report directly to the Senior Business Analyst and provide day-to-day IT/IM operations and administrative support to the staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate User account creation and deactivation (including Ocean, ONEID, ClinicalConnect, LifeLabs etc)
- Manage technical access processes for onboarding and offboarding
- Perform low-level IT troubleshooting and ticket triage with third party vendor
- Track hardware and software inventory and manage equipment replacement logs
- Maintain accurate records for systems access and compliance audits
- Support QI initiatives and EMR enhancements as directed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Combination of post-secondary education and/or experience in relevant disciplines
- Solid computer skills in MS Office
- Experience with EMR systems an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Able to manage time and work independently with a range of administrative tasks
- Decision making within set guidelines
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environment
- Ability to monitor, analyze, and report on data
- Ability to travel to different sites when required
- Willing to undergo a police criminal record and vulnerable sector check
