Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients/patients/residents incorporating best practice and evidence based research. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of students assigned to them. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement".  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

  • Baccalaureate degree from a program that is recognized by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists

Licenses

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Experience

  • Knowledge, experience with Pediatrics, NICU preferred.
