Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Stone Mason Labourer to support our masonry team on residential and commercial projects. This role involves assisting skilled stone masons with site preparation, material handling, and general labour duties while learning specialized masonry skills on the job.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and works well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport stone, tools, and materials to and from job sites
• Prepare work areas by digging, leveling, compacting, and setting base materials
• Mix mortar, concrete, and other materials as required
• Cut stone and materials using hand tools and power tools under supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Support site setup and teardown at the beginning and end of each day
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned and assist mason in all aspects to help complete the project

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous construction or landscaping experience considered an asset
• Willingness to learn masonry and hardscaping skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) repeatedly
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is an asset
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
