The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
What does a Warehouse Associate do?
Safety-focused operation of powered equipment: lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and order picking machineWork safely and efficiently while adhering to all company and health and safety policies and proceduresEffectively load and unload trucks/trailers, placing stock in designated locationsConduct final inspection of goods leaving the buildingMaintain warehouse inventory data systemProactively maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including exterior walkways and parking areasCommunication with drivers for deliveries or pick ups, working as a team to complete tasksTake daily direction from Warehouse SupervisorOther duties as assignedWhat do you need?
High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a warehouse environmentForklift and/or reach truck experience preferred - Raymond Reach Certification and experience considered an assetCommitment to accuracy and detailExperience with powered machineryBasic math, problem solving, and computer skillsWhen you join Swish, you can expect:
