Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support core infrastructure systems that enable reliable 24/7 business operations within a fast-moving energy environment.
  • Manage and administer Windows-based server platforms, directory services, and related system configurations.
  • Build and refine PowerShell scripts to improve workflow automation, configuration consistency, and system health monitoring.
  • Assist in administering cloud-based services, including identity management, monitoring, and operational governance tools.
  • Contribute to the organization's security posture by following established standards and supporting the implementation of new security controls.
  • Partner with internal technical teams to plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, and deployments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments or equivalent technical roles.
  • Strong skills in Windows server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, and foundational IIS management.
  • Experience with cloud environments (preferably Azure) including identity services, monitoring tools, and role-based access.
  • Ability to create and maintain scripts for automation using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the discipline to validate changes in controlled environments.
  • Comfortable working in time-sensitive environments with occasional tight maintenance windows or operational urgencies.

Pay: $35-45 per/hour based on a 12-24 month contract.

Three days in office downtown Vancouver.
