Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager in our Group Benefits Division. This is a hybrid role based out of our Richmond office in BC. Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $84,000 to $105,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual salary offered will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Why we'll love You:
- You bring 5+ years of experience in group benefits or employee benefits account management
- You have strong knowledge of group health, dental, life, disability, and ancillary benefits products
- You have a proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver strategic, results-driven solutions
- You're an excellent communicator and problem solver, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
- You're proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- You hold a valid Life License (LLQP) in BC
- CEBS, GBA, or related industry designations are considered strong assets
- You demonstrate accountability, collaboration, expertise, resiliency, and a client-first mindset
Once here, you'll:
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of group benefits clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers, plan administrators, and advisors
- Lead annual renewals in collaboration with Underwriting, including carrier negotiations, rate analysis, and plan design recommendations
- Conduct regular client meetings to review plan performance, introduce new offers, and gather feedback
- Develop and implement benefits strategies tailored to client needs and business goals
- Prepare and deliver quarterly and mid-year reviews with actionable insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with carriers to implement plan changes, resolve claims issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Respond to client inquiries on billing, claims, eligibility, and plan design
- Maintain accurate and current client records in CRM and internal systems
- Work closely with Sales, Underwriting, and Client Services to deliver seamless service
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Westland's suite of benefits and insurance products to drive growth within existing accounts
- Track and report on retention and growth metrics
