The Salesforce Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or Salesforce CRM. This role combines marketing strategy, technical execution, and data analysis to deliver measurable business results through effective email marketing.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, execute, and optimize email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.)
- Segment audiences and personalize campaigns using dynamic content and AMPscript
- Manage end-to-end campaign process — from creative briefing and template design to deployment and reporting
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align email content with overall marketing goals
- Conduct A/B testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion performance
- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations
- Monitor campaign metrics, analyze results, and provide actionable insights
- Maintain data hygiene and ensure CRM integrations and automations are functioning correctly
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2–4+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong understanding of email campaign best practices, segmentation, and deliverability
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email template customization
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting campaign data and generating insights
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management abilities
Preferred:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification
- Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and SQL queries
- Knowledge of additional marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo)
- Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing methodologies
Note: This posting is for an existing vacancy. The expected base salary range for this position is $60, $85, Actual total compensation may include variable incentive pay. The determination of an applicant's base salary is based on the applicant's skills, competencies, location, and unique qualifications.
