Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our food service team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and efficient restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling and restaurant operations, with a focus on delivering a positive dining experience for our guests. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and hospitality within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with food presentation, serving, and upselling additional menu items when appropriate
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow all health regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices
  • Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth restaurant flow

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety protocols is advantageous
  • Experience with cashiering systems such as Micros POS or similar is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and making change efficiently
  • Knowledge of the food industry standards for sanitation, safety, and serving procedures
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
