Job Title: AI/ML Engineer

Location: Toronto, Canada

Duration: Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python applications using MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Integrate MCP with AI/ML models, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Build scalable real-time and batch AI workflow services.
  • Work with data scientists/ML engineers to deliver AI-driven solutions.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.
  • Stay updated on AI, LLMs, and MCP advancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Python skills (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
  • Good understanding of AI/ML with experience in PyTorch/TensorFlow/Hugging Face.
  • Hands-on experience with MCP or similar context-aware frameworks.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices.
  • Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with vector DBs (Pinecone/Weaviate/FAISS) and RAG workflows.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
  • MLOps experience (CI/CD, model deployment).
  • Knowledge of AI security and data governance.
  • Open-source AI/LLM contributions.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's in CS or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional Python development (AI/ML preferred).

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
