Job Description:

Full Time Seasonal 30-40 hours per Week

Must be available Morning, Day & Weekends

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operates point of sale system/cash register
• Processes sale and return transactions.
• Processes, money, cheques, and credit/debit payments.
• Stocking shelves
• Daily cleaning schedules
• Greeting customers entering and leaving
• Customer service
• Directing customers to products
• Providing customer services
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to the team.
• Transplants seedlings and rooted cuttings
• Answering phone calls

Qualifications & Skills:

• Friendly and positive attitude
• Excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• years of retail experience desired but not required.
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of gardening is considered an asset but not required.
• Willing to train.
