About The Role
Little Burgundy is looking for a brand-forward copywriter & translator who can bring our product stories and brand voice to life across every channel. You'll write clear and engaging product descriptions that highlight each style's key features while reflecting the brand's personality.

From our product pages to campaign headlines, emails, and social media, you'll shape how our customers experience Little Burgundy in both languages, ensuring copy is thoughtfully translated into French with accuracy and cultural nuance.

This role combines creative storytelling, bilingual translation, and SEO-driven strategy to help us grow visibility and connect authentically with our audience across English and French markets.

Key Responsibilities
Product & Brand Copywriting

  • Write and edit product descriptions that are clear, engaging, and aligned with the Little Burgundy tone of voice.
  • Highlight key product features, benefits, and details in a way that inspires confidence and purchase intent.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, creative, and digital teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and compelling representation of products across all channels.
  • Craft copy for eCommerce, email, social, and paid media assets, adapting tone and messaging for each platform.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand voice to reflect the Little Burgundy identity and audience sensibility.
  • Work closely with designers to align copy and visuals seamlessly across campaigns.

French Translation

  • Translate English content into French with nuance, accuracy, and cultural relevance.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, grammar, and terminology aligned with brand standards.
  • Proofread and edit bilingual content for clarity, flow, and brand coherence.

SEO & Content Optimization

  • Apply SEO best practices to web and product copy to enhance organic visibility and conversion.
  • Conduct keyword research and integrate insights into product descriptions and landing page content.
  • Partner with eCommerce and marketing teams to measure content performance and optimize based on results.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in copywriting, brand communications, or content creation (fashion, retail, or lifestyle experience strongly preferred).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them effectively.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance creativity with commercial strategy and brand alignment.
