Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
  • Take accurate dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
  • Manage patient records using dental software such as Open Dental and Dentrix
  • Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks related to patient care, acting as a dental receptionist when needed
  • Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with health regulations

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with a strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Experience with dental software platforms such as Open Dental and Dentrix
  • Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
  • Familiarity with CAD imaging technology for diagnostics and treatment planning
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to manage patient records and appointment scheduling effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.38-$31.10 per hour
