Job Opportunity: Sidewalk Shovelers for Winter Maintenance Season

Position: Sidewalk Shoveler

As a member of our winter maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring sidewalks are kept clear of snow and ice on various commercial and industrial properties across London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manual shoveling and salting of sidewalks

- Operation of specialized equipment, including the Boss Snow Rator and Kubota RTV1100C with V-blade and salter

-Participating in post-shift debriefs to discuss site or equipment concerns

-Being on-call for snow removal throughout the winter season

Requirements:

- Transportation: Reliable transportation to our shop in London (public transit may not always be available)

- Driver's License: Valid G-class license with a clean driving abstract

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in snow removal operations

- Skills: Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills; ability to accurately complete log sheets for site records

- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in cold conditions, handle long hours, and perform physically demanding tasks
