Construction Dump Truck Driver

Weekly Travel Required

Reporting to the Site Superintendent | Civil, the Construction Dump Truck Driver safely operates dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites. These operators are skilled professionals who ensure the safe and efficient operation of civil machinery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate heavy machinery and equipment according to project requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Safely operate and drive dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites.
  • Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
  • Monitor equipment operation to identify and address any performance issues or malfunctions.
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress, issues, and concerns.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Only valid licensed Class 1 | Class 3 Dump Truck Drivers with clean abstracts will be considered.
  • Previous experience operating dump trucks and | or other commercial vehicles essential.
  • Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Site work experience.
  • Certification or training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction site.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy equipment operation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Physical stamina and endurance to withstand long hours and perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
