The Opportunity

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that a project meets its deliverables on schedule and within budget. Key duties include supervising project team members, coordinating with cross-functional departments and clients, and overseeing scheduling and task assignments to ensure all deliverables are achieved as planned.

This role works closely with and across our Project Consulting and Technical consulting groups to ensure organized project delivery and execution against project plans and commitments.

Core Responsibilities

Project Management
:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through closeout
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Coordinate and align cross-functional teams throughout the organization and client stakeholders, assigning tasks to ensure on-time execution.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and track risks/issues with mitigation plans
• Manage scope changes and maintain alignment with stakeholder expectations
• Communicate status, milestones, and escalations to clients and internal leadership
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and obtain required approvals/sign-offs
• Manage project financials, including forecasting, invoicing support, and budget tracking
• Coach and support junior team members to ensure project work is delivered on budget and schedule

About You

• At least 4+ years of project management experience in a client-facing, technology environment. PMI/PMP certification is an asset.
• 2+ years of implementation experience with SaaS platforms such as Salesforce
• 2+ years of experience with enterprise applications / requirements
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety, or Quality Management Systems, considered a nice to have
• Must have exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• You are inquisitive by nature, detail-oriented and quality-focused
• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and open collaboration

• Location:
  Summit currently operates in a hybrid work structure. Employees attend our Oakville, Ontario office at least 2 days per week to participate in team meetings, training and company events.
• Employment type:
  Regular, Full-time
• Travel:
  0-10% primarily to client sites in North America.
