The candidate should currently reside in the Manitoba geographic region.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and no fear when working on complex machinery. Additionally, the candidate will be skilled in the use of Solidworks, and possess experience in designing weld and assembly fixtures. Three dimensional thinking is a must.
Responsibilities
Working under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the ME will:
- Support and maintain production processes, equipment, and spaces.
- Design weld fixtures for robotic applications as well as manual welding techniques.
- Write and maintain procedures for production processes and production control.
- Plan, develop, and revise manufacture process for optimal results.
Education and Experience
- A degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Industrial Technology, a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering.
- 2-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills.
- Creativity, with problem solving skills and a high level of self motivation.
- An ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- A demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
