About the Position

The Facilities Management department requires responsible and conscientious individuals to join their team.

Position Details

The successful candidates will provide all aspects of caretaking including, but not limited to: floor care, carpet care, washroom care, operating all types of cleaning equipment, laboratory, office and classroom cleaning, and furniture moving on campus as well as at off-site locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge and experience in all aspects of caretaking/janitorial work
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Physically capable to handle job duties as assigned, including driving to off-site location
  • Comfortable working at heights over 5 feet and equipment training
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year cleaning experience at Lethbridge Polytechnic, other educational facility or hospitality industry

Salary

AUPE Class Level 2 Step 1 $36,058.18 per annum.
