The contractor will need to have at least a two-year diploma in Creative Communication or a related field along with two years minimum of related technical writing experience related to SAP.
Top Skills Required:
SAP Functional Knowledge:
Understanding SAP modules and terminology to accurately document processes, configurations, and workflows.
Interpret technical specifications and translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation.
Technical Writing & Document Standards:
Strong ability to create and edit high-quality documentation with clarity and consistency.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Skilled working with SAP and business users (SME's) together accurate information.
Ability to involve subject matter experts through the documentation process and ensure alignment with organizations standards.
The main duties you would need to be able to take on are:
Extract necessary frequency and task trigger information from the embedded task template table into the required SAP S/4 load sheets.
Extract and summarize necessary measuring points from the embedded task template into the required SAP S/4 load sheets.
Deconstruct the existing Transmission format maintenance procedure into multiple documents (e.g. maintenance procedures, check sheets, pre-planned reactive work procedures, technical information) using the EMPR modular format.
Be responsible for the preparation, editing, coordination, and assembly of complex documentation, templates and standards, internal and external communications, and other documents, as required.
Revise and edit documents before finalizing them into pdf format once reviewed and edited by the AC Assets SME. These documents will then be reviewed and redlined by the AC Assets SME, following which the Technical Writer will revise the documents as needed before finalizing them into pdf format.
