Position Summary:

The Verge Therapy Testing Psychologist position serves Verge Therapy clients with assessment and evaluation needs. The Testing Psychologist consults with potential clients and assesses the evaluation needs and provides a breakdown of evaluation services to the client. The Testing Psychologist may make recommendations and perform a written report. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality testing and evaluation to referred clients provided to you by Verge Therapy referrals
  • Consistently Maintain Quarterly Expected Hours; 3 Evaluations per quarter (3 months)
  • Submit client records on a timely basis using the EMR system
  • Provide clients and families with recommendations following evaluation completion
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other agencies, providers, and community outreach programs to assess needs and inform evaluation
  • Complete continuing education courses to maintain Massachusetts licensure requirements and stay up- to-date on the latest practices
  • Provide timely communication to clients
  • Adhere to safety procedures including immediate reporting or client safety concerns
  • Attend required meetings

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree or more advanced degree in Psychology or School Psychology
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Prefer at least 1 year experience in completing assessments
  • Experience using an electronic medical record system 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to provide neuropsychological assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment recommendations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in electronic charting and documentation
