Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quality Assurance Analyst to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating applications across various platforms, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role involves working with a diverse set of tools, programming languages, and testing frameworks to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative environment, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as TestNG, Selenium, Android, iOS, JavaScript, and more.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing on various platforms including Android and iOS devices.
- Utilize testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Visual Studio to automate test scripts.
- Validate application functionality across multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, and cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
- Conduct database testing using tools like MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and PL/SQL to verify data integrity and backend processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, TFS, or GitLab.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software quality standards.
- Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, and SVN.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends or issues affecting application performance or usability.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in software development, including version control (Git, SVN) and configuration management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing for web, mobile, or desktop applications with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, along with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- Knowledge of databases including MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle; familiarity with SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Experience working with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or SVN.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network fundamentals (Computer networking).
- Skills in API testing using tools that support RESTful services.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify issues impacting application quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. This position offers a dynamic work environment where innovation is encouraged, and continuous learning is supported through exposure to a broad range of technologies in software quality assurance.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: $25.99-$45.22 per hour
