Announcer - Kiss 99.3 

Please note: This Announcer role with KiSS 99.3 is a fully remote position, however, the successful candidate must be based in or near Timmins. While the day-to-day responsibilities will be performed remotely, there will be periodic requirements to attend remotes, offsite events, and promotional appearances representing the station in the local community.

Who we're looking for: 

KiSS 99.3 Timmins is looking to add a Full-time Drive Announcer to the on-air team We are looking for someone who is warm on the air and someone who is passionate, creative, innovative, and a strong communicator. We are looking for someone who cares about their community and the people in it.

What you'll do:

• Host a daily on-air show full of relevant and compelling content for our target audience.
• Prepare, produce and perform an entertaining show that fits our brand values.
• Attend remote and promotional appearances.
• Create content and look for creative ways to communicate with the audience on social platforms.
• Brainstorm with the BC&I team to come up with compelling concepts that satisfy the interests of the customer, the audience, and our brand.
• Deliver great voice work for our commercial producers & passionate about supporting our commercial initiatives.
• Voicetrack shows for other stations as necessary & directed.
• Be a communicator who's comfortable getting in front of a mic and being real & open.
   

What you'll bring: 

• Passion for engaging with the local audience (including in person, on the phone, in social media, etc.)
• Creativity to generate ideas to contribute to the team.
• Openness to feedback and guidance. You know there's always another level to reach.
• Experience with Wide Orbit Automation, Vox Pro, Music Master, Adobe Audition and WordPress, or a willingness to learn it quickly.
• Eagerness to learn; you'll receive support and growth opportunities to build your career with us.
• Excellent social media skills
• Valid G License
