We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant who is a self-starter, a team player, and ready to contribute to our high standards of service. This role offers a clear career path once training is successfully completed, the position will be promoted to Warehouse Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with wrapping, loading, and unloading of overseas containers and goods
  • Prepare LCL shipments for export, load lift vans and crates, and maintain an inventory of crates
  • Load air shipments into "D" and "LDN" containers
  • Load outbound air/LCL shipments onto freight trucks and unload incoming shipments
  • Keep the warehouse organized and clutter-free while maintaining safety standards
  • Sweep and tidy the warehouse as needed
  • Ensure safe work practices for all warehouse staff and visitors
  • Maintain local truck equipment, purchase supplies when required, and coordinate floor runner cleaning
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks for local and long-distance moves
  • Ensure all customer goods are stored safely and securely

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma
  • Intermediate computer skills (asset)
  • General knowledge of the moving industry
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • 3–5 years' moving experience required, preferably including cross-border/US moves
