About Brucejack
Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga'a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

Your impact
You will play a hands-on role in supporting environmental compliance at the Brucejack Mine by delivering field-based monitoring programs that protect water, wildlife, and the surrounding environment. Your work will directly support regulatory commitments and responsible mining in a remote, alpine setting.
As part of our team you will
- Spend the majority of your time in the field conducting environmental monitoring activities
- Collect surface water and groundwater samples, and prepare and ship samples to laboratories
- Complete environmental inspections, spill response support, and compliance activities
- Upload and manage monitoring data, with experience inMonitor Pro considered an asset
- Work closely with Environmental, Operations, and site teams to meet environmental obligations
Prerequisites for your success in this role
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Science or a related field
- Several years of experience infield-based environmental sampling or monitoring
- Experience using environmental data management systems (Monitor Pro is an asset)
- Strong field skills and the ability to work safely in remote and variable conditions
- Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to meet site medical and fitness requirements
Your work environment
This is aprimarily field-based position supporting the Brucejack Mine on a rotational schedule. Work is conducted outdoors in alpine terrain and extreme weather conditions, with some time spent in camp and office settings as part of a collaborative site team.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$85, ,900 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
