Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Restoration Technician / Labourer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assisting in the cleanup and restoration of properties affected by water, fire, mold, and storm damage. The ideal candidate is dependable, hard-working, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with demolition, water extraction, drying, and structural cleaning
• Set up and monitor restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
• Clean and pack out contents from affected areas
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE when required
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Accurately document work, materials, and job progress
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies
• Work overtime when required during busy periods or emergency responses
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or project manager

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous restoration or construction/labour experience is an asset (but not required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable working in challenging environments (damaged homes, crawlspaces, etc.)
• Willingness to be on call and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• IICRC certifications are a plus, but not mandatory (training available)
