Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PPM & PS Consultant to join our team and drive the successful implementation and optimization of SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both SAP PPM and SAP PS modules, with hands-on experience in large or medium-scale enterprise environments.

Duties

• Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP PPM and PS implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Analyze business processes and translate them into SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Customize and enhance SAP PPM and PS modules to support project portfolio management, resource planning, project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Integrate SAP PPM & PS with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD) and third-party applications as needed.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices, process improvements, and change management related to project and portfolio management.
• Deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical consulting or similar role, preferably within relevant industries.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, software applications, or network infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience implementing SAP EPPM (PPM and PS) solutions in large or medium organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex SAP projects on time and within budget
• Deep functional expertise in SAP PPM (Project Portfolio Management), including portfolio structuring, project lifecycle management, resource and capacity planning, project scoring, and portfolio analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PS (Project System), covering project structuring (WBS, networks), cost planning and control, scheduling, milestone management, and integration with procurement and finance.
• Desired Experience & Skills
• Relevant SAP Functional and/or Academy Training/Certification.
• SAP EPPM certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated record of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Technical aptitude with relevant business experience.
• 6–8 years of relevant SAP experience, including implementation, upgrade, support, and maintenance.
• Experience with SAP ERP, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Business Suite and NetWeaver components (ISU, CRM, Portal, PO, etc.), SAP HANA, and SAP Configuration Tools (IMG).

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $70.00-$90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
